Loaves and Fishes Yard Sale
Saturday, May 4th from 8:00 AM until 12:00 Noon

The Evangelism and Outreach committee will provide tables for your use in displaying your wares and will have someone pick up the remains when the sale is over. You are encouraged to sign up (on the blue sheetin the bulletin) to reserve a table, come sell your wares, and give at least half your proceeds to L&F.
Now is a good time to look on your shelves and in drawers and closets for things you no longer need and come sell them at the yard sale. Not only will you be helping yourself by getting rid of some of that “stuff” you have lying around, but Loaves and Fishes will benefit as well. You may begin signing up to reserve tables in this month’s bulletins.
Those of you who have participated in our sales in the past know that this is a great time for fun and fellowship with your fellow sellers. If you have nothing to sell, come and buy! Either way, please plan to join the fun on May 4th and help us to make this our biggest and most successful yard sale ever!
50th Anniversary Celebration coming in 2014
Did you know that 2014 will be the 50th Anniversary year of Northminster Presbyterian Church? How, then,shall we celebrate? In the Bible, the 50thyear was often called a “Jubilee”–a time of celebration, homecom-ing, the forgiving of debts, service, and Sabbath rest (read Deuteronomy 15 to find out more). What would that look like at Northminster? We could celebrate in any number of ways and a 50thAnniversary party is away to use our gifts. Do you like to plan parties? Do you like to use a hammer and nails? Are you a “detail person”? Are you a “big picture person”? There is a need for all kinds of people to be part of the planning process.
Come to a meeting on Sunday, April 21 at 3:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall where we will set a date for the 50th Anniversary Celebration and make a list of the wonderful ways we can celebrate.
